Lucifer merely exhaled, face still buried in his arms as he merely lay down, wishing that he didn't feel so pathetic and useless. He hated this situation so much. Deep down inside he wanted to be comforted, but he shook it off, knowing all too well that he had to stay strong and show that he wasn't weak, which was why he finally sat up, biting his bottom lip and glaring into the darkness.

Liam remained silent for a few long moments, eventually reaching into his jacket, "You know, Master. I never lied to you, nor did I disobey you... But I did hide something from you..." He softly pointed out, pulling out a worn picture, which he had obviously looked at many times before, that now additionally had blood on it. He frowned, wiping away as much as he could. He extended his hand to Lucifer, offering the picture of the little girl with white hair and blue eyes.

Lucifer rose a brow, slowly dragging himself back to Liam's side. He gently took the picture in his hand, looking it over. "She's beautiful, Liam." he said, gingerly touching the picture, as it was the only thing they had that would lighten up this dreary place. "Your daughter?" he asked as he looked to the male, tilting his head.

(Sure. XD It'd be cool if you could throw together the specifics on his clothes.. o: Idk if subetaHQ's working for you though.. It's not for me, and I needed it. ;3;

"Yes, my daughter," Liam confirmed, giving a soft nod of his head as he did so, "Her name is Remedios. Her mother named her, sounds kinda of stupid in my opinion, but it means 'cure' or something like that... I just call her Remy..." Not that I've talked to her recently...

(It's not for me, either. x_x He's just wearing a black suit, though. He looks all professional like. ;3)

The man smiled softly, looking to Liam now. "Haha, that's an interesting choice.. I like her nickname though." he assured, exhaling and leaning his head back against the wall. "You'll have to take some time off to visit with her, Liam.. after this ordeal... because from my observations, you probably haven't done so in a while." Lucifer gently pat his shoulder.

"Eah... I doubt she would want to see me now... She's not a little girl anymore... And..." Liam sighed, shaking his head softly as he did so. "I left her all alone, after all..." He whispered, looking to the picture as he did so.

Lucifer blinked, looking somewhat baffled. "Why, Liam?" he asked. "Why would you think that..?" He sighed. "Offspring are strange. Just because you think one way doesn't mean it's always true.." He ran a hand through his hair.

"I'd hate my father if he did that to me," Liam pointed out simply, giving his shoulders a brief shrug, he turned his eyes to his feet, "But, it's all irrelevant, I'll never find out now..." He whispered, pinching the bridge of his nose as he did so.

Lucifer frowned softly, before slowly, almost unsurely pulling Liam into a hug. "I'm sorry, Liam.. if I would've known I would've let you go to her.." He shook his head a bit, gently rubbing the other man's shoulder. He cares! Just don't sue him for sexual harrassment! D:

Liam closed his eyes, his fingertips under his glasses and continuing to massage the bridge of his nose, "It's not your fault, Master. I just knew she would be better off without me." He sighed heavily, letting his hand drop as he slowly reopened his eyes.

"Liam, my friend, we both aren't very good when it comes to children, it would seem.." he mumbled, leaning his head back against the wall. "But we can only learn from our mistakes and try to mend what we can." He slowly brought his fingers to his gnarly wound, realizing only now how pale he had become. "Uugh.."

"I suppose..." Liam murmured, frowning and looking to his master as he heard the groan. He looked to his own, blood stained hands, "Pity I don't have any healing power..." He murmured, sighing some, "That would sure come in handy now."

Lucifer chuckled softly, his hand slipping from Liam's shoulders to rest on the cold ground. "Don't worry, Liam.. if it's my time, it's my time.." He exhaled, trying to relax. ".. If something happens to me.. and hell's saved, Liam, I want you to take over. I trust you with my life, and you know how everything works down here.."

Liam sighed, looking to his master and finally noticing him on the floor. He slipped his glasses back on, crawling to the other man, whom he cradled lightly in his arms, "Master?" He asked softly, eyes dancing. He eventually leaned himself on a wall for support, with Lucifer more or less laying over his lap.

Lucifer groaned softly, opening his dark eyes only to see that he was no longer on the floor. He felt warmth, and as his eyes adjusted, he saw those familiar eyes staring down at him. "L... Liam..?" he whispered, slowly moving a hand, as if to touch his face, but it dropped just as it reached the flesh. "Nn..."

"Master? Are you going to be okay?" Liam asked, beginning to worry for the other man, he frowned deeply, not wanting in the least to take over the old dragon's position in hell.

"I.. don't know.. I'm just.. so tired.." he mumbled, growing silent for a few moments. ".. I have a confession.. I've kept a secret from you too, Liam.." He averted his gaze, as if it would make him feel any better. "I don't think you want to hear it though.." He sighed softly. Lucifer was in the mindset that he was going to die, so why not confess?
