Vampire Hunter School Thinger

"I really don't have anywhere to go at all.." he assured the other male, shrugging some. "Mm, well, that sounds like a good plan.. can I come with you, maybe?" he asked, smiling faintly. Xhai chewed on his bottom lip a few moments while he awaited the answer, wondering what Colten would say.

"Of course," the vampire responded, giving his head a soft nod, he gestured for Xhaiden to follow him as he began to walk.

"Haha, thank you." he said softly, smiling and bowing some, mimicking Colten because he felt the vampire might appreciate the actions. Xhaiden walked after the other male, and he licked his lips, eyes on the other man, drinking in his beauty. In what way, you may wonder.. but the truth is, I don't know either. It could be because of his orientation, or his fascination, or both.

Colten strolled at a somewhat fast pace, the same way he always walked because he hated it so much. He licked his lips a little, leading Xhai along.

Xhaiden picked up his own pace a bit, following the other with a soft exhale. It was quiet again.. and that kind of made him sad. He'd liked talking to Colten, it made him feel better.

Colten entered the castle, carefully tapping his shoes to remove dirt from them, he continued through the castle, to the dining hall, where he stopped to speak to Xhaiden, "What would you like to drink?" he asked curiously.

(It's storming.. Power's being a bitch. :C )

Xhaiden halted his movements, tilting his head for a moment as he thought. "Tea would be great.." he concluded, giving a firm nod. "But.. I can make it, if you want." He rubbed the back of his neck. One of those little ticks of his.

(Ew. :c)

"I can make it, I only ask, because the type of tea I have wouldn't appeal to you," Colten informed Xhaiden, moving slowly to a china cabinet and removing two tea plates and two tea cups, as well as a slightly larger plate. He placed both tea plates on the table, setting a matching cup on each, before disappearing in the kitchen. When he returned, still with the third and larger plate, he had several biscuits and cookies arranged on it, while it rest on a large tray that held the kettle, milk, sugar, spoons, and so forth. Carefully, he removed everything from the tray, and set it aside, "Here you are."

".. Haha, oh yeah.." he said, chuckling softly. "I guess it wouldn't be very healthy for a half angel to drink bloodied tea.." He shrugged, watching Colten leave the room. He slowly sat down at the small table, waiting for the other's return. As Colten entered the room again, he tilted his head. "Wow.. Thank you. That's very thoughtful." He smiled, waiting patiently. He wouldn't touch anything until the vampire did, it was only polite.

Colten lifted the kettle, placing a teabag on a sting in Xhaiden's mug and pouring in some of the hot liquid until it was nearly full. He then sat down, pouring some water into his own bug before pulling forth a vial of deep purple liquid, "A formula developed by Dracula's scientists, to help supplement my blood intake." he pointed out.

Xhaiden thanked Colten, smiling some. He watched the vampire curiously, eyeing the vial. "I see.. That's interesting. Very neat.." He nodded softly, still staring into the purple liquid. "How well does it work?" He tilted his head in curiosity, figuring it had to work well as the vampire was housed up with a lot of creatures with beating hearts.

"Very well," Colten assured him, setting the empty vial aside as he began to mix his tea. He poured some sugar and milk into his cup, blending it well, "It's incredibly bitter, though, so I really only drink it in tea, so that I can mix it with sugar and further dilute the taste with fresh milk."

"Ah.." he said, fixing his own tea after Colten was finished. "Hm, well, I'm glad it's not so bad in tea.. and that it works very well." Xhaiden smiled softly, still enjoying the other's company, and that was obvious. "It'd be a shame if you weren't able to hang around here with us.."

"Mm, it would be," Colten agreed, giving his head a light nod before picking up a tea biscuit with one hand, while indicating to the plate with the other, "Please, help yourself."

Xhaiden nodded softly, before smiling and picking up a cookie. He nibbled on it after thanking Colten again. The half angel licked crumbs from his lips then sipped at his tea with a faint smile.

Colten smiled a little at the half angel, easily buttering up his tea biscuit before taking a bite from it.

"So, how old are you, Colten? If you don't mind my asking?" Xhaiden blinked, smiling some. He was so curious, and that might be his downfall someday. :/

"I don't mind, but I don't really remember." Colten pointed out, shrugging a little as he did so, "Time becomes irrelevant to an immortal, or so I find, at least..."

"Oh yeah?" he said, tilting his head cutely. "Hm, well that's interesting.. I really wish you knew, because I'd like to know too." Xhaiden smiled faintly, taking a moment to wonder about himself. He didn't know how long he'd live, even with his lineage.

"Mm, well, when you live forever, time has a different meaning than to something that would eventually die," he pointed out, sipping his tea once more, "I've been around a long time... Seen many things... Met many people..." He rambled, closing his eyes as he thought back.

"I bet you've had an amazing life.." he murmured, running a hand through his hair. "Man.. I bet it's been awesome.." He sighed softly, slowly looking away. Xhai felt so.. human. He didn't like it. He wanted to be like Colten, but he hadn't ever had a decent reason to ask someone to bite him. He didn't want just anyone to bite him either.. so.. eh.

"Mm, not as awesome as you would think," Colten pointed out, his eyes closed as he drank briefly from his cup before setting it down with a sigh.

".. Oh.. really? Well.. I'm sorry then.." he said softly, taking a sip from his own drink. "I'm here if you ever need or want to talk about anything.." Xhaiden smiled faintly, eyes full of kindness. Awhs.

"Mm," Colten murmured, slowly reopening his eyes to look at the other male as he did so.

(I feel like using Kai now. o: )

Kai exhaled, slowly moving into the library of his father's home, on the hunt for a few books. He wanted to take some reading material back to Dracula's castle. They needed something to do, and his father had a great collection of volumes. Hell, while he was there, maybe he'd even find something to help him with his boys. Something was going on with them, and he needed some advice. This library was a collection of knowledge, and somewhere in it, he'd find his answers. ".. Hm.." he murmured, stalking down the isles of bookshelves, not even bothering to look around. He knew where he was going, well, the section, at least. The dragon looked somewhat sick. He'd lost weight and muscle mass, likely from worrying about his damn children. He cared about his sons more than himself, which was obvious. Aw.
