"I knew you would return here," Zechs pointed out, having literally appeared from no where. He held a gun in his hand, which appeared to be a handgun, but was much more, obviously. He was a seasoned killer, not some noob going for the ultimate score, "You and yours aren't welcome in this world." He concluded, firing a shot at Kai without another word.

(That's really cool. ^^ Ira's pretty, 's why. ;D)

Zerkai froze in his spot, head turning towards the man with the gun. "..." What had he done to deserve this? Was this payback for his life before he'd changed? All thoughts stopped as he felt the horrific pain of a bullet piercing him. ".. N.. no..." he whispered, throwing a hand over the bleeding wound. He went to his knees, shaking slightly. It had been a damn good shot.. he could feel the bloodloss taking its toll. ".. but.. my boys..." he whispered, shutting his eyes as he fell forward, landing face down in the tile. Aw.

It's where I've gotten a lot of recent character names from. Trowa. Treize, and now Zechs.

Zechs is sexy. And so is Trowa. And I just liked Treize's name. XD)

"Don't worry, I'll take care of them too," Zechs assured, giving the faintest hint of a smirk, "I'm a new breed of angel, Zerkai, not even the likes of Lucifer, or God themselves have power over me and my will." The renegade angel pointed out. He lifted his gun once more, firing a Kai again to put him out of his misery. "Sinners will pay..." He muttered as he turned to leave.

Kai grunted, frowning deeply. "No.. you'll.. pay..." he whispered, gritting his teeth before giving a final gasp. His eyes stared into space, slowly losing their life. He was gone, but to where? Maybe his soul would linger in hell, though out of reach from his family, or maybe it was doomed to wander the earth forever. Awhs.

(Who should find him? o: Or like.. we could skip to his funeral..? Idk. xD)

Zechs moved silently towards a window, throwing it open and crouching in the frame for a moment, before his wings burst through the back of his jacket and he took flight, leaving only his feathers as a clue as to who had killed him.

(Damn. I just got this idea that maybe heaven and hell should be at war now, because Lucifer thinks one of those angels killed Kai. O_O)

Dominiq entered the library, staring at the cover of a volume he'd just read. His nostrils flared as he caught the scent of blood, but not just any blood, blood of a relative. He rose his eyes, looking around before spotting Zerkai. ".. No.." he whispered, tossing the book and running to his brother. "Kai, wake up!" he said, shaking the younger dragon. "Don't you dare-"
".. Dom.. he's already gone..." came a sad voice from behind. Lucifer slowly crouched by his living son. "Oh, Kai.. why would someone do this to you..?" He bit his bottom lip, cold hand resting on his dead son's cheek. "I'm so sorry.. I.." He caught sight of the open window, eyes narrowing as he saw the plumage left from the angel. "BASTARDS!" he snarled, nails and teeth sharpening. "After all we've done for them.. We've kept peaceful relations for so long.. then they just burst in here and kill my boy.. They seem to have forgotten how hostile I can be... how.. cruel." Sinister laughter escaped his lips, and he looked around. "LIAM!" The devil was angry, and he had a message to be delivered. Well, various messages.

(I thought you said in your post that he was home. o_O

Ah well, at any rate, he's an angel with good intentions, that does things totally wrong. xD)

Natrix, hearing the commotion, emerged from his room, half dressed as usual. Around his neck he wore a black collar, with spikes on it, suggesting he was having a little hardcore play time. Moving towards the library a frown formed on his features, apparently knowing someone was dead before he arrived. As he entered the room, he swallowed a hard lump in his throat, "Kai..." He whispered.

Liam, on cue, appeared as Lucifer spoke his name. "Yes my L-" The scent of blood crossed his nose and he had to focus all his might to not vomit in place. He cleared his throat, speaking more quietly this time, "Yes, my Lord?" he asked, grimacing at Kai's limp frame.

(Um. Okay. It's like 3 in the morning. Someone knocks on my door. I answer and there's a girl standing there in her underwear and bra. And I'm just like 'O_O' and she's just like 'good on you,' gives me the thumbs up, and then goes to knock on the next door. o_O

And she came back. O_O I loaned her my sweater so that she didn't have to wander naked. x_x)

Drake's going to be out for blood. D: )

Dominiq looked to Natrix, frowning some. His attention soon returned to Kai, and he pulled his brother to him, cradling his head and shoulders in his arms. ".. Baby brother.." he whispered. "Oh, Kai.." He sniffled, hanging his head with a sob. Why?

Lucifer looked to Liam as he appeared, hands clenched into fists. "Fetch Jemessis and Drake.. be.. gentle with your wording.. I want them here before they begin to panic.." he continued to gently stroke Kai, as he'd done when he was a boy. "Then inform heaven that this means war.. They've killed my son, so they shall pay.." He shook his head softly, then sighed. "They blindsided me.." He grunted. "Finally.. I want you to find out if there's anything that can be done.. I want to know where he is.. and if we can bring him back."

(XDD Rofl. Wow. What the fuck, dude? XDDDDDD That's hilarious.

Natrix approached his brother's, one which now lay dead. He crouched down alongside them both with a large frown.

"I will do my best, Master," Liam said, giving a light bow before turning and exiting the room, clearly intending to follow his lord's wishes. He couldn't help but question if an angel really had a hand in the murder. It seemed illogical, but whom was he to judge?

(I have no idea. I really don't.

Yeah. I kinda have my doubt I'll ever see it again since she didn't know where he own clothes were. <<)

Dominiq clung to Kai, a few soft words escaping him. His final goodbye to his brother. "I love you, Kai.." he whispered. "Please.. come back to us soon.. somehow.." He whimpered softly, apparently having been very attatched to his little brother. Awhs.

"Thank you, Liam.." he stated, finally turning his full attention to his boys. "I don't understand why.." Lucifer shook his head softly. "My poor, poor boy.. There must be a way to bring you back here.. I just have to find you first.."

Natrix moved away from his brother's limp form, sitting in one of the library chairs, a frown etched into his features, "I didn't think we could actually die..." He whispered, closing his eyes as he did so. He was a kinky man, into a lot of things, but death didn't do it for him.

Dominiq seemed to ignor Natrix, merely cradling his dead brother with a frown of his own.

Lucifer looked up at Natrix, shaking his head softly. "Our bodies can.." he pointed out. "But our spirits don't.." He cleared his throat softly. "Therefore, we don't necessarily die.. but still." He looked back to Kai, before gently rubbing Dom's back. This was horrible and he wasn't sure what to do.

"Interesting..." Natrix whispered, running his fingers through his hair as he did so, "So Kai is still out there... Somewhere..." He murmured, swallowing a hard lump in his throat as he did so.

(Should I post Liam bringing Jem and Drake back now?)

Dominiq slowly set Kai back down, sniffling softly. He retreated, sitting near Natrix because he didn't want to be in the way when Liam returned. Besides, he couldn't stand the sight, or the icy feel of Kai's flesh.

Lucifer nodded softly. "Yes.. that he is.." he murmured, sighing softly. "I'm going to try to get him back.. somehow." The devil frowned, looking to his other sons.

Once more, as if on cue, Liam slipped into the room, closing the door tightly behind him as he did so, "Master, I have returned with the boys. Should I allow them in or would you prefer to go to them?" He asked. Though he was impartial to death itself, as he had done many dirty deeds over the years, to actually have one of his masters die startled him. Mostly because it meant there was some winged creature that could move without detection.

"I'll go to them.." he said. "Thank you, old friend." Lucifer rose, looking down at himself, glad to be wearing all black so that the blood didn't show. "What did you say exactly?" He began to move towards the door, wondering what he should be expecting from the boys.

"I told them that their father had passed on. Whether your tell them he was murdered or not, I left up to you," Liam told Lucifer, pushing his glassed up his nose a little as he did so, "Master, I don't mean to step out of line by saying this, but don't be too hasty. They are young, and they are rash, as they've proven most to us just recently. I would hate for them to die in vain because of their rash actions," he pointed out, bowing as he did so.

"What else can I tell them, Liam? That he shot himself?" he stated, frowning deeply. "I can't do that.. I know it won't end well, but I've got to tell them the truth." Lucifer shook his head softly, before exhaling. "I will be slow with it though.. and at least try to comfort them." He stood before Liam and the door, rubbing his temples for a moment. "This isn't going to be pleasant.."

"Master, they will go looking for trouble, there's a very good chance that whatever killed master Kai will go after them as well, and if he could not sense in, then the boys have no chance," Liam pointed out, frowning deeply as he did so.

"Liam.. if I don't at least warn them, then they're completely oblivious.. they'll be slain like their father with no clue what fate awaited them. They have to know that something's out there waiting for them. Hell, I'll send Montrielle with them. He'll come out of 'retirement' with this happening.. and that hellhound's got senses beyond even ours." Lucifer sighed softly, moving around Liam. "The feathers need to be gone before I bring them in here.. someone please take care of that." He walked forward, merely phasing through the wall.

Drake leaned against the wall opposite the door, hugging himself. His eyes were red and he was obviously very upset, though he wouldn't allow himself to break down just yet. He clutched a jacket; Kai's jacket. His father's scent lined the fabric, giving him some form of comfort. Absent hazle eyes slowly looked to his brother, wanting to comfort though needing to be comforted himself. Awhs.

"As you wish, Master," Liam remarked, giving his head a soft nod, "Would you like me to track down Montrielle as well? I assume the half breed is still with him, as well." He pointed out, looking over to realize his master had already gone into the next room. Sighing some, he vanished, heading to heaven to give the declaration to the angels.

Natrix rose from his seat, making a bag appear in his hand and brushing the feathers carefully into it. "If old Monty can smell that well, than he should be able to track whatever got Kai with these, eah Dom?" He asked, closing the bag soon after and tucking it into a desk drawer.

Jemessis frowned, watching his brother while he stifled his own emotions. Being the more dominant of the two, he stepped forwards, pulling his twin to his body as he did so, "Drake..." He whispered sadly, then lost whatever words that he had meant to say next.

"Maybe.." Dom whispered, frowning deeply as he stared at the body laying on the floor. "I hope father's right.. declaring war with heaven isn't exactly the best of ideas.." He ran a hand through his hair, looking to Natrix with a sigh. "This is so horrible."

Drake wrapped his arms around Jem, clinging to him for dear life. ".. I.. I can't believe..." he whispered. "Oh, Jem.. I... I..." He bit his bottom lip, stifling himself and burying his face in Jemessis's shoulder. He grunted, slowly lifting his head to look at his grandfather as he emerged from the wall.

Lucifer moved closer to the boys, frowning softly. "I'm sorry.." he told both, pulling them into a tight hug. "I'm so sorry.."

"It is a little risky to assume an angel did this... But then, I don't know of any other winged creature smart enough to slip in and out of hell," Natrix remarked, once more sitting down in his chair, he paused for a moment before rising again. "I think I'll pay a visit to Castle Dracula... They know more of what he's been up to lately than we do," he pointed out.

"I know Drake..." Jem whispered, holding onto his twin, he snuggled the other man in a way to comfort both of them a little. He soon leaned into Lucifer as he felt him close, "Grandfather... How did this happen?... How could it happen here of all places?" Jem asked, his voice sounding choked up.

Dom nodded softly. "Mm, that's a good point.." he murmured, watching the other male. ".. Alright.. you'd better behave though, Natrix. Really." He frowned at his brother, very serious. Maybe he should just go with him? He doesn't want Natrix starting his sex campaign up.

Drake nuzzled his brother, still clinging to him. "W.. why did it happen, grandpa? Who would want to.. k.." He shut his eyes, shaking his head.

"I'm not sure... Someone, well, something slipped in here without being sensed. I think we all need to be cautious.. it's most likely after all of us.. so I'm sending Monty with you two, once Liam finds him. I won't let anyone else die." He continued to hold them close, rubbing their backs in a comforting manner.

(Rofl. It'll be interesting having Monty around Jem since they had their time together. xD)

"Behave?" Natrix asked, furrowing his brows as he did so. He snorted and smirked soon after, "I'll try my best," he assured, licking his lips as he did so.

Jemessis buried his head in his grandfather's shoulder, his arms still bound tightly around Drake, "Where should we go, grandfather? Should we stay here or go elsewhere?"
