"Mm, I see," Maddox murmured thoughtfully, "I'd prefer the local food to chain food," he snorted, shaking his head some, "Someone that's been around as long as I, have developed a taste for real food," he assured, actually quite fond of the idea of having lamb. Though, he had experienced box couscous in the past, and found it to be rather bland, to say the least.
The half demon walking alongside him seemed disinterested with the idea of either local food or the chain restaurant. She ran her fingers through her hair, hoping that someone that was around could make a good smoothie. The female sighed. So much that she would never be able to taste. She looked to her feet, wondering what it was like to truly feel full. She was always hungry, whether it was all in her mind or otherwise, she was never really sure. Once more she sighed, lagging a little and simply followign the two men.

(... Force of habit to assume it. XD)

Abel nodded softly. "I want some hummus.." he murmured. "With olives.. mm." He rubbed his stomach for a moment, enjoying the thought. "Yes, real food is always better than that boiled, nasty alternative." He shook his head a bit, thinking. "I wonder what all we'll face on this job.. I have a feeling more than we've bargained for.."

Maddox snorted softly at Abel's words. "For you, maybe," he whispered, giving the other male a sly look as he made his way towards the complex they were staying at, as he had spotted it. The building looked pretty fancy from the outside, so he hoped that the inside was similar.

(xDD Nahh.)

Abel blinked, looking to Maddox with a risen brow. Hm. Well, he thought to himself, this really would be interesting. Very interesting. He returned his gaze to the area in front of him, slowing a bit as he saw the outside of their new 'home'. Wow..

Maddox made the rest of their journey in silence, leading Abel and his apprentice to the resort with little hassle, the front door was easy enough to find, and it was equally easy to announce the trio to the front desk. As he was handed a key, he gestured the two follow him. They traveled down a long hall, lined with many doors and expensive decor. Their room was at the end of the hall, so they passed many things before finally arriving. He opened the door, allowing his two companions to enter.
Remy entered first, taking a step into the room, she immediately shuddered. The female furrowed her brows slightly, looking around in suspicion before seeking out a room.

Abel eyed the resort's decore, obviously impressed. Fancy things had often caught his eye, but he tended to stay with the low profile. "Nice.." he murmured, quietly thanking Maddox for holding the door open. He stepped inside after Remy, wondering why she shuddered like that. He didn't ask, however, merely walked around, figuring that Maddox should get next pick on rooms. He'd be happy with a cot, so it didn't matter much to him.

Maddox wasn't choosy as to where he slept, though he did take advantage of such luxuries when they presented themselves. He threw his bags into an empty bedroom, before heading towards the kitchen, "Full fridge," he announced with grin.
Remy, too, roamed their new living area. However, she moved to the sofa, flopping down and spotting a piece of paper. She grabbed it, tilting her head as she read it. "Apparently, our employer will meet us before nightfall," she told them, blinking some.

Abel walked slowly towards the final bedroom, setting his things in the door before turning to face his companions. "That's good." he said, head bobbing some as Maddox announced the good news. He rose a brow as Remy spoke, however, having thought that they wouldn't get to meet the employer. "Hmm.. where?" he asked, wondering how long they'd be waiting around.

"Here, I think," Remy answered, looking the paper over, "It's pretty vague, just says that he'll come to us," she pointed out, slowly setting the paper down on the coffee table. She crossed her arms over her chest, leaning back into the comfy cushion.
"I hope we'll be starting right away, this heat is killing me," Maddox said, popping open a soda and taking a deep drink.

"Alright.." he said, nodding and walking towards a window. He pulled the blinds up momentarily and stared out into the surrounding town. "I wonder how much the sphynx has changed since I was last here.." he murmured. "Or the pyramids.." He closed the curtains and made his way into the kitchen, fixing himself a glass of water, which he sipped at contently. "By the time we're done here, you'll probably be used to the temperature." He chuckled softly. "The night is nice.."

"I really don't want to get used to this," Maddox told the other man, rubbing at his face, which felt sticky and disgusting. He finished his soda, set the can on the table, and turned to his two fellow employees, "I'm going to take a shower, don't kill or break anything while I'm gone," he said, which was mostly directed at Remy, whom smiled softly.

(Off anf on. Mostly off.)

Abel rolled his shoulders, likely thinking that it was too bad for Maddox, because it was bound to happen anyways. He pulled his hat off, setting it on the counter and running a hand through his hair. He found the last words to Remy rather amusing. "Hmm, Rem, do you want anything?" He looked around the kitchen, spotting a blender, along with other ingredients for a smoothie or milkshake, though he didn't know what she'd want.

Remy considered declining his offer, but though that it would be rude of her, though in truth she was rather hungry. Turning on the sofa a little, she looked to Abel, "I guess so..." She murmured, waiting for him to give her the options.

He tapped his chin, before moving through the kitchen. "There's soup, fruit, sandwich fillers, ice cream, chicken... err.. looks like we have the entire grocery store in here.. Haha." Abel turned to face her. "What would you like? I don't mind making whatever you want."

"Um," Remy whispered, shifting herself on the couch so that her stomach pressed where her back usually did. She gazed towards the kitchen, contemplating her options. "Can I... Can I have a fruit smoothie?" She asked him, peering expectantly at him, much like a begging dog.

(Jesus Christ, the lab has turned Taebien into every experiment except the one I want. -_-

And he's had more gender changes then I dunno what. *Dies*)

"Sure." he said simply, smiling as he pulled the blender out and plugged it in. He pulled what he needed from the fridge, eyeing the fruits before looking to her again. "What fruits would you like? There are bananas, strawberries, mangos.." He licked his lips randomly.

"I like banana and strawberries," Remy responded, raking her fingers gently through her hair once more. "Thanks," she then told him, resting her elbows on the back of the couch.

(Dude. Go to Subeta, refresh on Preferences a few times, and open the box you get. It's for members that have been on for 2 years or more, and it's awesome. 8D - You get to choose between a free pet color, a free GA, a free pet slot, and... Some other crap I don't remember. XD

"Kay." he stated as he pulled out the fruit. He sliced the banana up after peeling it, throwing it in the blender with the strawberries and whatnot. He finally put the lid on and then pressed the big button, watching as it was smoothified. Hehe. I made a word up. C:

Remy watched intently over the back of the couch, eagerly awaiting the smoothie. She turned her head as she heard movement to the other side of her room, and caught a glimpse of Maddox wandering into another room with a towel around his waist and another wrapped around his hair, which was longer than her own. She giggled softly, knowing he was now going through the long process of drying it and tying it as he always did.

(Yeah, I liked him better as a squid. T_T

Now he's some mermaid dog thing. o_O)

Finally, deeming the smoothie finished, he poured it into a glass. Then he popped a straw in it for good measure. Abel walked to the couch, offering it to her with a faint smile. "Here you go.." he said softly.

I have like.. three slots for pets, and no idea who to make/what to color them.
I don't really want the tome or the treasure chest.. x_x Idk. I'd use color, if I knew who was what. D: I'd knock out the most expensive, if I knew who that was. >:

"Thank you," Remy said, giving the faintest smile as she accepted the food her offered her. She happily slipped the straw between her lips, and began to drink the smoothie.

"No problem." he said softly, smiling at her again. The male then plopped himself down on the couch beside her, sipping at his water and laying back against the cushions.

Remy slowly sat down on the couch correctly, crossing her legs gingerly as she did so. She sipped happily at her smoothie, sinking back into the couch.

(Oh, right, I had this random idea last night, where all three of them are kidnapped, and like you thought of Maddox, they were all going to be sacrificed. And the person doing it would be like 'something young, something old, and something dead,' and Remy would rebel and try to free them, and they play some mind trick on her, to make her think she has a scarab in her mouth, and she starts clawing at her face and stuff... Yeah. o_O)

Abel sat there, relaxing and beginning to slowly drift. He blinked some, wondering when they'd meet their boss.

(XD EWWW. Poor thing. D: Rofl. XD Yus. Hehe. I can see that. xD

Should I use the color to make Drake match Jem or make Abel graveyard?
The potions are about the same, price wise. o:

Remy drank a little more of her smoothie, setting it down for a moment before stretching out and giving a soft yawn. "I hate sitting around," she murmured, giving a soft, hopeless sigh.

(Yeah, I can too. xD So one of them would have to save them. And it ain't gonna be her this time. xD

"Me too.." he murmured. "I've never been one for relaxing.. but hell, we'll need the rest." He licked his teeth absently. "Hmm, I picked up a neat relic today.. a neat old scimitar that's in wonderful condition."

"Yeah, I guess we should rest," Remy murmured, frowning lightly as she cast a glance to him as he spoke to her, "Yeah? That's pretty cool, going to use it for anything, or just... Look at it... Yeh..." she murmured.

"Mm, I'm going to use it.." he assured. "We're in Egypt, so I figured it'd be appropriate." Abel ran a hand through his hair. The blade also seemed special to him, but regardless of that, he loved weapons anyways.

"That's cool then," Remy murmured, smiling at him, as she nodded her head softly.

Abel nodded softly, staring at the table before them for no real reason. Heh.
