Digimon - Digital Monsters

Gabriel leaned in, using his lighter to catch the smaller wood on fire. He watched the flame as it slowly built up, as if captivated by it's orange glow. He rubbed the back of his neck again, one of his habbits, apparently.

"Well... we brought some food.." he pointed out, tilting his head. "But I guess it wouldn't hurt...?" He smiled faintly at the digimon.

Impmon rose, looking around. "I'm up for it.." he muttered, hungry apparently.

Do you mind if like.. Gabe gets stuck in the biomerge form and the Holy Darkness messes with his head since his digimon's dark? o:

Monodramon rose, grabbing Trowa's hand and dragging her towards the forest, telling the others that they would be back soon, he began to show his human some of the things that grew in the Digital World, picking up things as he went.

The digimon looked to Gabe, motioning for him to follow. Together, they went in the opposite direction of Trowa and Monodramon, though stayed within sight of the fire.

He too began to tell his partner about the vegetation, sure the knowledge would come in handy someday.

It was some time later when Trowa and Monodramon returned, holding an arrangement of mushrooms and fruits that they could reach. They sat down on the ground, stuck some of the mushrooms on a stick to roast them, both chatting back and forth.

(Phone again.)

Impmon and Gabriel returned a little after them, carrying the same, though a little less plus some herbs. "Thanks, Impmon.." he stated, recieving a shrug in return. The digimon motioned for him to do what Tala and Monodramon were doing, as he wanted his food roasted as well. Gabe nodded and mimicked his company, his partner sitting somewhat near him.

Trowa looked between everyone as silence over came them, trying to decide what to say to the others. "Well then..." She murmured.

Monodramon happily roasted his mushrooms, looking to Trowa as she spoke.

"Since we're going to help you.. I guess we need to learn some things?" Gabriel stated, eyes flickering. He blinked for a few moments, waiting to find out if the digimon were going to teach them or if someone else would be.

"Learn some things about what?" Trowa asked, tilting her head a little as she did so.

"I dunno... you'd think there'd be something though.." he murmered. "Like.. about the devices we found in our bags.." He pulled out his digivice.

"Oh! Those are Digivices," Monodramon responded, nodding his head a little as he spun the stick in his hand around to roast the other side of the mushrooms. "They help us Digimon digivolve to our next levels. Somewhere along the way, we'll have to find both of your crests as well, so that we can get even stronger!" He said, nodding his head a little as he did so.

"... Ah." he murmered, giving a single nod. "Can you not digivolve without the crests or..?" Gabriel felt like such an idiot. But oh well. He began to play with his lip piercing again, feeling eager to see what the two digimon looked like when they digivolved. He looked to Trowa, smiling some out of the blue.

"We can reach our adult forms without the crests, but beyond that is unobtainable." Monodramon responded, indicating to Trowa that the mushroom were done, he pulled one off and offered it to Impmon.

Trowa did much the same, however she offered it to Gabe, giving him a kind smile, "I guess we're in this together," She pointed out, shifting a little where she sat.

He gave a single nod, glad to know that they would at least get larger than they were now, and more powerful before they needed to find their crests. He thanked Trowa, slowly nibbling on the roasted mushroom. "Yes, we are."

Impmon thanked Monodramon and began to nibble too, very much like his partner, in many, many ways.

Trowa then began to eat her own mushroom, furrowing her brows for a few moments, "Why do you need to be stronger, anyways?" She asked, before taking a large bite out of her mushroom.

"Not all Digimon are like us. Some will attack us, for no reason other than being in the wrong place at the wrong time," Monodramon responded, easily eating away at his own mushroom, "That's why we have to save the world, so that it can be peaceful again."

Trowa nodded her head a little, "I see," she murmured, then realizing that the cold air of the night was beginning to set in. She shifted a little closer to the fire, thinking she should soon set out her sleeping bag and whatnot inside the tent. They could talk more in there, after all.

Gabriel yawned some where he sat, leaning back against a tree. "I see..." he murmered. "This world is basically at war.. because of the Holy Darkness?" He cleared his throat some, crossing his arms over his chest.

(Lame, sorry. D: )

"That's correct," Monodramon mumbled, voice muffled as he was in the process of licking his fingers. With his stick in hand, he proceeded to poke at the fire for a few moments, glancing to Trowa as she moved about.

"I'm going to set my things up in the tent," She told them, moving away from them and towards the collapsible structure. Easily, she lifted her pack from where she had set it down and shifted inside, unlatching her sleeping back and tossing it easily over the floor of the tent. Since it was a tent meant for four or five people, they would have a great deal of room, even with the two Digimon.

Monodramon rose soon after, curiously stalking after his partner, wondering what sort of trinkets her bag held.

"Alright.." he murmered, watching her from where he sat. Gabriel felt like sleeping right where he was, for some reason he was very, very tired. Gabe yawned again and turned his head to the side, staring off into the darkness.

He began to slowly shut his eyes, listening to the sounds of nature around him.

(Lame again. :/)

Trowa kicked off her shoes and changed into her pajamas, easily crawling into her sleeping bag. She settled down, noting that Monodramon was watching her. Easily, she gestured for him to come lay down with her, and easily cuddled into the little dragon like creature.

Impmon was wide awake, and silently murmered that he would keep watch. The devilish little creature rubbed his chest, looking around every now and then.

Gabe nodded, beginning to fall out. "Alright, Impmon.. thank you.." he responded quietly, eyes gleaming in the firelight. "Good night.." It was a comment to all three of his companions.

Trowa and Monodramon easily drifted off, snuggled in against one another and snoozing softly, all of their worries simply drifting away...

(Lame.)

I guess maybe to when they're ready to head out.

And I now realize Digimon RPs are more fun with more people. xD)

Gabriel was all packed up, backpack in place, as well as the tent and some other things. He blinked some, noting that Impmon was standing at his side, looking towards Trowa and Monodramon. "You two good to go?" the human asked, tilting his head.

He brought a fruit to his lips, taking a bite of his 'breakfast' with a soft exhale through his nose. He handed the fruit in is other hand to his digimon, who began to munch on it as well. "These are actually really good.."

Impmon shrugged. "I've had worse." he pointed out, returning his attention to the other two of the group.

"Yeah, we're ready to go," Monodramon responded, rubbing his hands together a little as he did so, as if eager to get on their way. He looked up at the female and waited for her to speak.

"Where, exactly, are we going?" She asked, furrowing her brows a little as she did so. Very good question, Trowa.

"Hmm..." Mnodramon murmured, as if trying to recall something or another, "Well, to the dark regions, I guess, on the other side of the island..."

"The dark reigons?" he murmered. "That sounds inviting.." Gabriel shook his head some, looking down at Impmon as the creature gave a cackle like noise. "Well, it depends on who you ask." he pointed out, then grinned, pearly white fangs gleaming.

"I take it as you like it there..?" he stated, brow arched.

"The atmosphere, yes. Everything else, no.." He shrugged at Gabe.

"Ah.." he murmered. "Well, how long will the trip be, you think?"
